Aladdin, a custom Farr 40, was built to owners specifications in Cape Town in 1994. Then designed to be a racing cruiser made her way to Walvis Bay, Namibia where she sailed actively until 2000. After a succesfull Cape to Rio campaign she was relocated to the Royal Cape. Since here arrival here she has and still is undergoing extensive revamping to bring here up to par with the local racing scene. With limited crew she is holding her own amongst the serious racing crowed in the Western Cape.
