Lobelia, an IMX 40 launched in 2002 is owned by Gordon Kling. Skippered by Gordon and Rob Meek she is a hot contender in the IRC scene in the Western Cape. “We try (time, work and crew location permitting) to participate in virtually all IRC races run out of RCYC”. Lobelia’s latest successes include a 3rd on handicap in the 2008 Macs Shipping Walvis Bay Race, 1 st in 2008 Double Handed race to Hout Bay, 2nd overall in the 2008 winter twilight and 2 nd in RCYC Bay Race in Feb 2009.
