Puma Unleashed owned and skippered by Hylton Hale was built in Durban by Pacer Yachts in 2005; she was purchased from the company in 2007 and is regular competitor on the Cape sailing circuit. This Simonis Voogdt design was originally known as a Leisure42 and is the only racing version of this model. The hull is epoxy foam sandwich, mast and boom carbon by Southern Spars, sails from the North loft and all deck ware is Harken.
